ABA added a new band to its distribution.   

The Koon Skyners from Illinois.       

That's right, The Koon Skyners!       

Their myspace page indicates that they hunt racoons.

According to dictionary.com COON means either

 

"RACCOON

or

A BLACK PERSON"

 

There is no definition for KOON, however

www.urbandictionary.com

lists KOON as

 

"a disparaging term for a Black person

or it can be used as another way to

refer to a person of African descent"

 

We are curious. Do you think they realized the racial implication?

 

Maybe not. Their myspace page indicates that they have never seen a black person.

No pictures, no links; they have a slew of recording artists on their page,

no black ones though.
